Frequently Asked Questions

What is holistic Life Coaching?

Holistic life coaching is an approach that focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Rather than just addressing one aspect of your life, such as career or relationships, I help you explore how all areas of your life are interconnected. By working together, we identify the obstacles holding you back and create a personalized plan that fosters balance, wellness, and fulfillment across all aspects of your life.

My coaching integrates practices like mindfulness, physical fitness, and mental clarity to ensure that you’re not only achieving external goals but also feeling aligned internally. It’s about empowering you to live authentically and with purpose, while finding harmony in every area of your life..

ARE YOU CERTIFIED?

Yes! I am certified in several areas that allow me to take a comprehensive approach to life coaching. I am a certified MindBody Life Coach and Meditation Trainer, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I’m also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with specializations in Corrective Exercise (CES) and Behavior Change (BCS), both of which are also through NASM. Additionally, I’m a Certified Level 1 Animal Flow instructor.

These certifications reflect my dedication to providing well-rounded, evidence-based guidance to help you achieve your goals—mentally, physically, and spiritually.

What’s the difference between life coaching VS therapy?

While both life coaching and therapy aim to help individuals improve their lives, they differ in focus and approach. Therapy typically addresses mental health issues, emotional trauma, or past experiences, helping clients work through these challenges with a licensed mental health professional. It often focuses on healing and understanding the "why" behind thoughts and behaviors.

Life coaching, on the other hand, focuses on personal development and achieving future goals. As a life coach, my role is to help you gain clarity on where you are now and where you want to be. Together, we’ll set actionable goals and work on strategies to reach them, whether that involves improving your physical health, mental clarity, or finding purpose in life. While coaching can be therapeutic, it’s not a replacement for therapy and doesn’t treat mental health disorders.

In short, therapy is about healing the past, while life coaching is about building your future.

How does your approach differ from traditional coaching?

My approach is holistic, meaning I focus on the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Rather than focusing on just one area of life, I help you see how different aspects of your life connect and impact your overall well-being. By addressing physical fitness, mental clarity, and spiritual balance together, I help you achieve lasting transformation, not just in one part of your life, but in a way that aligns all of your goals and values.

What does the Yutori Method involve?

The Yutori Method is my unique coaching philosophy rooted in the Japanese concept of "Yutori," which means creating space and balance in life. It involves helping you focus on what truly matters by decluttering the mind, nurturing the body, and deepening your connection to your inner self. Through personalized strategies, we work together to simplify and refocus your life so you can create space for growth, fulfillment, and the things that bring you peace and purpose.

What areas of life can you help me with?

I specialize in helping clients create balance across mind, body, and spirit. This includes areas such as physical health and fitness, mental clarity and resilience, spiritual growth, mindfulness, and overall lifestyle changes. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve your mindset, or align with your deeper purpose, I offer a tailored approach to help you in multiple aspects of your life.

How do I know if life coaching is right for me?

Life coaching is for anyone ready to make positive changes in their life, whether it’s improving physical health, gaining mental clarity, or deepening spiritual awareness. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just want to improve your overall well-being, life coaching can help. Together, we’ll assess your goals and determine if my coaching approach aligns with your needs. If you’re ready to take action and invest in yourself, life coaching could be the right next step.

What kind of results can I expect from coaching?

The results you can expect depend on your individual goals and commitment to the process. Clients often experience a transformation across multiple areas of their life, including increased mental clarity, improved physical health, and a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment. Physically, you may see improvements in strength, mobility, and overall fitness. Mentally and emotionally, many clients find they have greater resilience, focus, and balance. Spiritually, you can expect to feel more aligned with your values, experience a sense of peace, and gain a clearer understanding of your life's purpose. Ultimately, the goal is to create long-lasting, positive changes that help you live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
